Meet the Maker

As the founder of Crystal's Custom Crafts, Crystal Hall's passion for her trade has deep and meaningful roots.   

Crystal is a disabled Navy veteran who comes from a family of artisans, including her grandmother, mother, siblings, and other relatives. 

Her passion for putting her talents to work and sharing them with others is the product of her many challenges.

Crystal is a 2014 Breast Cancer Survivor who was diagnosed at an early age.  She and her family, unfortunately, share a rare genetic trait that predisposes them to this disease.  This predisposition is also compounded by the fact that she is a woman of color, as BIPOC communities have the unique challenge of having to overcome systemic barriers to equality in healthcare.

As a result, promoting breast cancer awareness is a passion of hers and a portion of all proceeds go towards purchasing wigs and prosthetics for breast cancer patients.
